Aer Lingus Business Class
from$1,900round trip · per person
Aer Lingus flies more US–Ireland routes than any airline — fourteen US cities to Dublin, plus Shannon — with lie-flat business seats on every aircraft including its A321 narrowbodies, and its Dublin base has US Customs preclearance, so the flight home lands as a domestic arrival. At $1,900 round trip, it is the lowest lie-flat fare to Europe we sell, and Dublin connects to London, Paris and Amsterdam in an hour.

The seat
What makes Business Class different
The A330 business seat is a lie-flat staggered 1-2-1/1-2-2 with direct aisle access at most seats, a 16-inch screen and Irish catering — a proper breakfast on the morning arrival, Irish beef and salmon, and a Jameson at the bar. The A321LR and XLR, which fly many of the shorter East Coast routes, carry sixteen lie-flat seats in alternating rows of one and two; it is one of the few narrowbody business cabins in the world with beds. The preclearance point is what makes the airline unusual: you clear US immigration in Dublin before the flight home, land as a domestic arrival, and can connect to anywhere in the US without another queue.

Important to know before you book
- The A321 business seat is excellent for a narrowbody but narrower than the A330's; we tell you which aircraft flies your route.
- Allow an extra hour at Dublin for US preclearance; the business lounge is after it.
- Aer Lingus is not in an alliance, but AerClub uses Avios, so points move to and from British Airways and Iberia.
- St. Patrick's week and July–August are peak; November–February is cheapest.
Rankings and reviews
Aer Lingus holds a Skytrax 4-Star rating and has been named Best Airline in Ireland and Best Regional Airline in Western Europe; its A321 business cabin has been reviewed as one of the best narrowbody premium products flying, and it is consistently among the most punctual transatlantic carriers.
Why book Aer Lingus with LuxeSkies
Aer Lingus's Dublin-stopover fares to Europe are one of the best-kept secrets in transatlantic pricing, and its fourteen US gateways are priced very differently. We hold contract fares from $1,900 round trip, confirm the aircraft, price Dublin against Dublin-plus-Europe, and compare Aer Lingus with Delta, United and American on the Ireland routes.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”
