Qatar Airways Business Class (Qsuite)
from$2,390round trip · per person
Qatar Airways is the airline most frequent flyers name when asked for the world's best business class, and Qsuite is the reason: a sliding door on every seat, center pairs that become a double bed, and four center seats that become a private room. It flies nonstop from twelve US cities to Doha, and from Doha to more than 170 destinations on one ticket, in one cabin.

The seat
What makes Qsuite different
Most business seats give you a lie-flat bed and direct aisle access. Qsuite adds a door, and the door changes how you use the flight: you can change into pajamas, work with a laptop open, or sleep in an enclosed space without anyone passing your feet. The center seats face each other in alternating rows, so two center suites with the divider lowered become a real double bed — the only one in business class on any airline flying to the US — and four center suites with the panels retracted become a quad with its own table, which is how families and colleagues fly it. Dine on demand means the crew serve when you ask, not on a schedule, and the menu is one of the few in business class with a caviar course.

Qatar Airways lounges
At Doha, the Al Mourjan Business Lounge is the benchmark — a vast space with a restaurant, quiet rooms, showers and a games room — and the newer Al Mourjan Garden Lounge, opened in 2022, was named the World's Best Business Class Lounge at the 2025 Skytrax awards. Both are open to all Qsuite passengers with no status required. In the US, Qatar Airways uses partner lounges, typically American's Flagship or Admirals Club, or British Airways lounges, at its gateways.
Upgrades: can you move up?
There is no First Class on US routes, so the upgrade question on Qatar Airways is from economy or premium economy into Qsuite. The airline sells cash upgrades in the app and at the airport when seats are open, and Privilege Club members can use Avios on eligible fare classes. Negotiated fares are booked into specific fare buckets, and some are excluded from mileage upgrades — ask your LuxeSkies manager before booking if upgrading a companion later matters to you.
Important to know before you book
- Not every Qatar Airways aircraft has Qsuite. The 787-8 and A330 carry an older seat without a door. We confirm the aircraft on each flight before we quote.
- The double bed and quad suite exist only in the center seats — request them at booking.
- Doha–US flights are long; the eastbound sectors depart the US in the evening or late morning and land in Doha the following evening or early morning.
- Qatar Airways does not include chauffeur-drive on business fares; Emirates and Etihad do on some.
- Alcohol is served on board and in the lounges.
Rankings and reviews
Skytrax named Qatar Airways the World's Best Airline for a record ninth time in 2025, along with World's Best Business Class, World's Best Business Class Seat (Qsuite) and World's Best Business Class Lounge, and AirlineRatings rated it the World's Best Full Service Airline for 2026. It has held Skytrax's top business-class ranking more years than any other carrier.
Why book Qatar Airways with LuxeSkies
Qsuite fares are among the most negotiable in the industry because Qatar Airways prices the same seat very differently by gateway, season and connection point. We hold contract fares from New York, Washington and Chicago starting at $2,390 round trip to Doha and $3,300 to the Maldives, compare them across every US departure, confirm the aircraft carries Qsuite, and book the double bed or quad when you need it. One manager from quote to e-ticket, a reply in 30 minutes, no upfront payment. IATAN accredited, Florida Seller of Travel, 4.8 on Trustpilot.
Qatar Airways questions
How much is Qatar Airways business class from the US?
Our negotiated starting fares are $2,390 round trip from New York, $2,450 from Washington and $2,600 from Chicago to Doha, and $3,300 from New York to the Maldives, for lead-time bookings. Winter, Christmas and West Coast departures price higher.
Does Qatar Airways have First Class to the US?
No. First Class flies only on the A380, which does not serve the US. Qsuite business is the top cabin on every American route — and it is closer to most airlines' First than to their business.
Which Qatar Airways flights have Qsuite?
The 777-300ER, A350-1000 and most A350-900s, which operate the majority of US routes. The 787-8 and A330 do not have Qsuite; we check the aircraft on every fare before quoting.
Can I stop in Doha on the way to the Maldives or Asia?
Yes. Qatar Airways' stopover program offers hotel packages from one to four nights, and a stopover usually adds little or nothing to the fare. Tell us the final destination and we price the through-fare in Qsuite for every leg.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”
