Business & First Class Flights to Dubai

from$2,150round trip · per person

Dubai is the destination that made the modern premium cabin famous, and Emirates flies it nonstop from more US cities than any other Gulf route — twelve, coast to coast — with First Class on every one of them. Twelve and a half hours from New York in a suite with a door, a chauffeur waiting at Terminal 3, and the Maldives, India and East Africa four hours further on the same ticket.

Flying Business & First Class to Dubai

Emirates flies Dubai nonstop from New York JFK, Newark, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, with the A380 on the largest routes — New York, Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston and Dallas — and the 777-300ER on the rest. That distinction matters: the A380 has the onboard bar, the First Class shower spa and a 1-2-1 business cabin; many 777s still carry a 2-3-2 business layout without aisle access for the center seat, so we confirm the aircraft on every fare. United flies Polaris nonstop from Newark, a strong alternative if a Star Alliance ticket or United's US network matters. One-stop routings on Qatar Airways, Etihad, Turkish Airlines, British Airways or Lufthansa are worth pricing from cities without an Emirates nonstop.

Terminal 3 is Emirates' own, and the ground experience is the sales pitch: chauffeur-drive to and from the airport at both ends on First and most Business fares, lounges that occupy whole floors with direct boarding onto the A380, and a First Class lounge with a spa and cigar room. Passport control uses smart gates for US passport holders, and the Metro's Red Line runs from the terminal into the city. Dubai is also the reason to fly here even when Dubai is not the destination: Malé is four hours, Mumbai three, the Seychelles four and a half, Nairobi five, Bangkok six, with a stopover of one to three nights adding little to the fare.

Dubai's calendar is the inverse of Europe's. November through March is the season — daytime highs in the 70s and 80s, the Dubai Shopping Festival in January, the Dubai World Cup in late March — and Christmas week and New Year's Eve are the most expensive nights of the year for both flights and hotels. April–May and October are warm shoulders. June through September is genuinely hot, but premium fares and five-star hotel rates fall to their lowest, and for a stopover between the airport and a beach in the Maldives, summer works well. Ramadan shifts about eleven days earlier each year; fares often dip during it and jump for Eid.

Which airlines fly First Class to Dubai?

Emirates, from every US city it serves — on the A380 with the shower spa from New York, Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston and Dallas, and on the 777-300ER elsewhere. United tops out at Polaris business.

How long is the flight from New York to Dubai?

About 12½ hours eastbound and 14 hours on the return against the jet stream. Chicago and Dallas are around 14 hours; Los Angeles and San Francisco about 16.

On Emirates, yes — at both ends, on First and Flex/Flex Plus Business fares. The discounted Special fare excludes it. We tell you which fare type you are quoted.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”

“It was great! So helpful and patient the only negative thing I can say is it wasn’t communicated the price for assistance until I already paid and left a tip.”
