Business Class Flights to Nice
from$2,600round trip · per person
Nice is the only Riviera airport with US nonstops — Monaco is 20 minutes away, Cannes 30, Saint-Tropez under two hours — and from spring through autumn you can fly there overnight from New York or Newark in a flat bed and be on the Promenade des Anglais by 9am. In winter the nonstops pause, and a one-stop via Paris on Air France is the way to arrive.

Flying Business Class to Nice
Delta flies New York–Nice and United Newark–Nice with lie-flat cabins in season, and La Compagnie — the all-business-class airline — runs Newark–Nice on lie-flat A321neos from roughly late spring to early autumn. Those three are the nonstop list, and none runs in winter. Year-round, Air France connects Nice through Paris in about 90 minutes from any of its US gateways, which also opens the door to La Première on the transatlantic leg; Lufthansa, SWISS, British Airways, KLM and Emirates (via Dubai, with First on the long leg) reach Nice from their hubs. No nonstop US–Nice flight has a First Class cabin.
Nice airport sits on the seafront a few miles from the center, with helicopter transfers to Monaco taking seven minutes and cars to Cannes about 30. It is also the practical door to Provence — Aix and Avignon are two hours by train — and to the Ligurian coast of Italy, with Sanremo 45 minutes away and Portofino under three hours. An open-jaw into Nice and home from Paris, Milan or Barcelona is a classic Mediterranean itinerary and prices like a round trip.
The Riviera calendar is compressed. The Cannes Film Festival in mid-May and the Monaco Grand Prix on the last weekend of May are the two weeks when premium seats and hotels sell out at any price. June and September are the sweet spot — sea warm, towns open, fares closest to our $2,600 New York starting price. July and August are peak season on the coast. From November to March the nonstops stop, the light is beautiful, and a one-stop business fare via Paris typically drops well below summer levels.

Nice flight questions
How much is business class to Nice from the US?
Our negotiated starting fares are $2,600 round trip from New York for lead-time bookings on the seasonal nonstops. Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix and July–August dates price higher; winter one-stop fares via Paris are usually lower.
Is there a nonstop business-class flight to Nice from the US?
Yes, in season — typically April or May through October — on Delta from New York, United from Newark and La Compagnie from Newark. In winter, connect through Paris on Air France or through another European hub.
How long is the flight from New York to Nice?
About 8 hours eastbound overnight on the nonstop and 9 hours on the return; via Paris, allow 10–11 hours including the connection.
Should I fly into Nice or Marseille for the South of France?
Nice for the Riviera, Monaco and the Italian border; Marseille for Provence and the Luberon. Marseille has no US nonstops, so a one-stop via Paris works for either, and an open-jaw between them covers the whole coast.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”
