Flying Business & First Class to Punta Cana
The nonstops are narrowbody flights with recliner First Class on American from Miami, Charlotte, Dallas, Philadelphia, New York and Chicago; Delta from Atlanta, New York and Boston; and United from Newark, Houston, Chicago and Washington. JetBlue flies from New York, Boston, Newark and Fort Lauderdale without Mint; Spirit and Frontier fly without a premium cabin. No lie-flat seat operates this route from the US. Air France and Iberia fly lie-flat from Paris and Madrid, which matters only for clients combining Europe and the Caribbean. The front cabin's value is the ground: priority check-in and security at busy Northeast airports, lounge access, first boarding on a full flight, two bags, and a manager who handles the booking and the resort transfer.
Punta Cana's airport is one of the Caribbean's most efficient — open-air, quick immigration, and the Bávaro and Cap Cana resort zones 15–30 minutes away. Almost every resort arranges transfers, and we coordinate flight times with the hotel. The destination is the all-inclusive: Cap Cana for the top end, Bávaro for the big-brand resorts, and Uvero Alto to the north for the quieter ones. Santo Domingo, the oldest European city in the Americas, is two and a half hours by road.
December through April is the dry season and the peak, with Christmas–New Year, Presidents' Day week and spring break the most expensive weeks and the first to sell out in the front cabin; Easter week brings Dominican family travel as well. May and early June are warm, dry and good value. Hurricane season runs June to November; August through October carry the highest risk and the lowest premium fares, well below our $1,100 starting fare from New York.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”
