Flying Business & First Class to Montego Bay
The nonstops are narrowbodies with recliner First Class on American from Miami, Charlotte, Dallas, Philadelphia and New York; Delta from Atlanta, New York and Boston; and United from Newark, Houston and Chicago. JetBlue flies from New York, Boston, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale without Mint; Southwest, Spirit and Caribbean Airlines fly without a premium cabin. No lie-flat seat operates from the US; British Airways and Virgin Atlantic fly lie-flat from London for clients combining the two. The front cabin's value on this route is priority handling at busy Northeast airports, lounge access, bags, and — on arrival — Club Mobay, Sangster's paid fast-track and arrivals-lounge service, which we book alongside the fare and which turns a 45-minute immigration line into five minutes.
Sangster is on the eastern edge of Montego Bay; the Rose Hall resorts (Half Moon, Hyatt Zilara, the Ritz-Carlton site) are 15 minutes east, Round Hill and Tryall 30 minutes west, Negril 90 minutes west on the new highway, and Ocho Rios 90 minutes east. Resorts arrange transfers. Kingston is three and a half hours by road or a 35-minute domestic flight, and Port Antonio on the northeast coast is four hours.
December through April is the dry season and the peak; Christmas–New Year, Presidents' Day and spring break are the most expensive weeks and the first to fill in the front cabin. May and early June are warm and good value. Hurricane season runs June to November, with August through October the highest risk and the lowest premium fares, below our $1,000 starting fare from New York.

Montego Bay flight questions
How much is a premium-cabin flight to Montego Bay?
Our negotiated starting fares are $1,000 round trip from New York for lead-time bookings; Miami is lower, Atlanta and Charlotte similar, Boston, Chicago and Dallas slightly higher. Christmas, Presidents' Day and spring break price higher.
Is business class to Montego Bay lie-flat?
No — every US nonstop is a narrowbody with recliner First Class. We tell you so before you book; the value is priority handling, the lounge, bags and Club Mobay fast-track on arrival.
What is Club Mobay?
Sangster's paid fast-track service: an escort through immigration and customs on arrival, and a lounge with fast-track security on departure. We book it alongside your fare; it is the single best upgrade to a Jamaica trip.
Should I fly into Montego Bay or Kingston?
Montego Bay for the north coast, Negril and Ocho Rios — nearly all resorts. Kingston for the capital and the Blue Mountains; it is 3½ hours from Montego Bay by road.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”
