What makes Business Class different
The A350 business seat is a reverse-herringbone 1-2-1 with direct aisle access, an 18-inch screen and a bed with a mattress topper; the A330s have a 2-2-2 lie-flat that is fine for couples but lacks aisle access at the window. The service is what people remember — Fijian crews, a "Bula" welcome, Fiji Water and a menu with Pacific fish and tropical fruit — and Nadi's Premier Lounge is small and calm. The strategic point is the routing: Los Angeles–Nadi is eleven hours rather than the fifteen to Sydney, and a two- or three-night island stop on the way to Australia or New Zealand costs little extra on the fare.
