Saudia Business & First Class
from$3,000round trip · per person
Saudia is the only airline flying nonstop between the United States and Saudi Arabia — New York and Washington to Jeddah and Riyadh — with lie-flat business on the 777-300ER and 787, a twelve-seat First Class on the 777, and dedicated Umrah and Hajj service. As Saudi Arabia opens to tourism — AlUla, the Red Sea resorts, Diriyah — it is the way most Americans arrive.

The seat
What makes Business Class different
The 777-300ER business cabin is a lie-flat 1-2-1 with direct aisle access and a large screen; the 787-10 matches it, while some 787-9s carry an older 2-2-2 seat. First Class on the 777 is twelve open suites with a wide seat, a bed made up by the crew and a private check-in at Jeddah and Riyadh. Two things make Saudia distinct. First, it is a dry airline — no alcohol on board or in its lounges — and its catering is Arabic and international with a strong Saudi menu. Second, for pilgrims, Saudia's Umrah and Hajj operation is unmatched: Zamzam water handling, Ihram-ready service on flights to Jeddah, and a dedicated Hajj terminal.

Important to know before you book
- Saudia serves no alcohol on board or in its lounges.
- The 787-9's 2-2-2 business cabin is the one to avoid; we route you onto the 777-300ER or 787-10 where possible.
- Hajj (dates move each year) and Ramadan bring peak demand to Jeddah; Riyadh peaks with business travel and the winter events season.
- US citizens can obtain a Saudi tourist e-visa; Umrah visas have their own process.
Rankings and reviews
Saudia holds a Skytrax 4-Star rating and has won Skytrax's World's Most Improved Airline award; its 777 business cabin and its Hajj and Umrah operations are well reviewed, and the Riyadh and Jeddah lounges have been upgraded as the Kingdom's tourism program expands.
Why book Saudia with LuxeSkies
Saudia's US nonstops are the only ones, so the comparison is against one-stop routings on Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Turkish and the Europeans — and the answer depends on whether Jeddah, Riyadh or Madinah is the goal. We hold contract fares from $3,000 round trip, confirm the aircraft, and price the nonstop against the Gulf one-stops on the same dates.

“Steven was enthusiastic (to a fault). His first of three offers was about 10% above my budget but the flights really fit the schedule so well I had to say yes. The other two offers were cheaper but the timing was off for me.”
